For companies with technological innovation looking for experienced managers!

What is it?

The CxO measure is a €150,000 intervention (50% in the form of a grant, 50% in the form of a subordinated loan), granted by the Walloon Region through IGNITY.

The measure always begins with the grant portion, which can be disbursed over 15 months.

The objective is to facilitate these companies' access to experienced managers.

For whom?

For technologically innovative* SMEs (start-ups & spin-offs) less than 5 years old, headquartered in Belgium, and with at least one substantial operational location in Wallonia (which may be the head office).

The company must be supported by IGNITY or another recognized operator (CEEI) and must not be in financial difficulty.

*By its very nature, a technological innovation carries a risk of technological or industrial failure. It must represent a break from the state of the art, the magnitude of which generates a decisive and measurable economic value. It also represents a technological and economic barrier to entry for competitors. The innovative nature of the innovation will be assessed by an Ignity Business Mentor during the process.

Why ?

To enable and facilitate these companies' access to experienced managers having more than 10 years of relevant experience in their role and participating in the company's strategy : business developers (BDM), or other types of profiles that could assist in the management (CFO, COO, CTO...).

How?

The application for the CxO aid must be introduced through the contact form linked on this page. IGNITY will then forward the application form to be filled. The application can be introduced at any given time ("one-stop shop" principle for aids).

Two scenarios
Company established
Company not yet established

The CxO is hired for a maximum of 12 month and will lead the project to the establishment of the company.
